A jump starter starts the engine quickly. A charger slowly recharges the battery over several hours. Many drivers keep both.

Portable jump starters with a tyre inflator
A portable jump starter lets you start a car with a flat battery without another vehicle or jumper cables. Both models here are rated 8000A peak current and include a built-in air compressor, so the same device can also inflate a tyre.
They are made for 12V vehicles. Check the engine size listed on each product page, and message us your car's make, model and engine on WhatsApp if you are not sure.
Frequently asked questions about jump starters
How do I use a jump starter?
Check the jump starter is charged. Connect the red clamp (+) to the positive terminal and the black clamp (−) to the negative terminal, switch the jump starter on and start the engine. Then switch it off and remove the clamps. Always follow the instructions in the box.
What is the difference between a jump starter and a battery charger?
A jump starter gives a short burst of power to start the engine; it is portable and battery-powered. A battery charger recharges the battery slowly (several hours) and needs a 220V socket. See our battery chargers.
Will it work on a truck?
Both of our jump starters are for 12V systems. 24V truck systems need a different, 24V device.
Can the jump starter charge my car battery?
No. It starts the car, but it does not recharge the battery. Use a battery charger for that, or drive the car for a while.
How does the inflator work?
Connect the air hose to the tyre valve, set the target pressure and switch it on — the inflator stops automatically when it reaches the pressure.
