❓ Frequently asked questions
Is it 500W or 1000W?
The rated (continuous) power is 500W; the peak is 1000W. The 1000W is a short-term peak, for example the moment a device switches on. The total of all connected devices must not exceed 500W.
Will it work from the cigarette lighter socket?
At low loads (phone, laptop, camera) — yes, with the car plug. A lighter socket usually handles about 150W. For more power, connect directly to the battery; the clamps are included.
What can I plug in?
A laptop, phone, tablet, camera, dash cam, projector, drone charger and other 220V equipment up to 500W. The USB-C PD and USB-A ports charge a phone directly.
Is it suitable for a 24V truck?
No — it is for 12V systems only (passenger car, SUV, 12V pickup). For a 24V system choose a 12V/24V inverter such as the 200W model.
What protection does it have?
Protection against overload, short circuit, overheating, high and low voltage, and reverse polarity. A built-in fan cools the inverter.
Does the engine need to be running?
Not for a short time at a small load. For a large load or long use, keep the engine running so the battery does not go flat. The low-voltage protection switches the inverter off by itself.
